River Funnies
These are just a couple, but I want to post them before I forget!
- Every time I get River out of the bath, I wrap him up in a towel and sit on the couch with him cradled like a baby. Here lately I've been rubbing his lip with my finger and saying goochie goochie goo and he cracks up! It is so funny! This past week he has started doing goochie goochie goo to me and if Dusty is home he has to do both of us. It's hilarious!
- River loves chapstick. He wants it on every time he sees it. Well, the other day I was putting lip gloss on and he wanted some. I told him no, that was for girls. Today, we were on our way to town and I was putting lip gloss on and he started pointing at me say "gool". I was like what?!?! Then it hit me, he was saying GIRL! Ha! I was like 'yes, baby, that's for girls and you're a boy'. He's so smart ;o)
This is from Friday at my mom and dad's
We have had a very low key weekend! Friday night, Dus worked so me and River went to moma and daddy's to eat and hang out. River LOVES riding the 4-wheeler! Saturday, I got a little flower planting done. It was so hot Saturday (mid to late 80s I think). I'm not complaining tho, I'd rather it be in the 100s than cold out. Later that afternoon, my long time friend Cassie came to town. We visited for a couple of hours. It was good seeing her. I wish she would've brought her little girl. Today, me and R went to see my gma then went to our favorite store TARGET! River loves the big balls outside. He has to touch them every time! Also, it is like 30 degrees cooler than it was yesterday. What tha!!
Dusty and my daddy playing with the the bull. His name is Seven.
I'm going to get back to working out this week. I plan on going M-T-T. I am just now starting to not feel sore from this past week. It's crazy!

What's on T.V.?
The shows on TV last night were great! First off, American Idol. I have some favorites and some not-so-favorites. I love Pia and Casey! They're awesome. I also like Lauren Alaina. My not-so-faves are Haley (ugh, can't stand her!), James Durbin (that screaming, squealy stuff gets on my nerves plus he reminds me too much of Adam Lambert who I do not like at all), and Scotty (I really don't see why the judges like him so much. Yeah, he's got a deep voice and can sing, I guess, but he doesn't have the "wow factor"). I haven't made my mind yet about Niyama (she's definately different). But, Tuesday night, Casey was NOT my favorite. It seemed like he yelled through the whole song or something, Pia was kinda boring (I'm tired of all the ballads). I did, however, think Scotty and James and Niyama did pretty good. Crazy! Niyama is a real entertainer. I love watching her just to see what she will do and how she will dance. Now on to the result show, I don't usually watch the result show. I get bored with it so I usually have the TV on that channel, but do other stuff while it is on until the last 5 minutes when they say who is going home. Well, last night's result show was GREAT! I loved it when Stevie Wonder came and they sang Happy Birthday to Steven. He was so surprised. And, in case I haven't said it before, I am in love with Steven Tyler since the 2011 American Idol has been on. Ha! The Hulk Hogan surprise was cool, Sugarland sung one of my favorite songs by them, and the end was crazy! Casey was total shocked. It was great!
Also, I've always loved me some Gray's Anatomy, but have been kind of bored with it here lately and kind of quit watching it faithfully. I did watch last night, and it was pretty good. It's definately got my attention back. I cannot wait till next weeks show. It is gonna be so sad and I'll probably need a box of tissues!
Anyhoo, what are your favorite shows?
We don't have much going on this weekend. My friend is coming in town Saturday and we will go eat lunch, but that is about it. I've got to start practicing and studying for a ThirtyOne party I have next weekend. This will be my first party in a few weeks and I am totally getting nervous about it! Yikes!! Oh yeah, Gerard Butler is in town filming a movie, so uh, I may be doing a little stalking, too! He is HOTT! ;o)
Buh-Bye! ;o)

How many times did I eat out in one week???
Hehe. How cute is this fella!
Uh....four! That's right 4 times! It started Thursday. It was a nice day out so I texted Dusty to see if he wanted to take River to the park and go eat at Chick-fil-A. Well, he didn't! Instead, he wanted to go to Pepe's, a new Mexican restaurant in town. So we went, and it was pretty good. Me and River shared chicken quesadillas. Friday, Dusty had to work, so me and River went to Waskom, Tx to David Beard's with my mom and dad, Kasen, and my aunt and uncle. It was fun. And, they have it so pretty out there with a waterfall and rocks and decks and porches. The boys ran their hiney's off!
See how pretty!
Looking at the waterfall and fish
Me and River making a wish :o)
River ate really good that night. He had bean soup, fruit, pickles, fish, fries. It was good!
Kasen was amazed at the whole fish daddy was eating. He wanted one of his own.
River and Aunt Denice being silly
Moma laughing at them. Haha :o)
Mouth full of fish
The next night, we met Bruce and Aubri at Outback. They all wanted steak. I'm not a big steak eater so I got tilapia with lump crab meat. Omigosh, talk about good. I didn't really finish eating because River was being a little terd and wanting out of the highchair and all over the booth with me and Dusty. Ugh...no more going out to eat with him for a while!!
I love this picture of my favorite boys!
Sunday, we didn't stay home, but we didn't go out to eat either. I had bunco at 2:00 and so my mom kept River because Dusty was fishing. So after Bunco we had to go out to my mom's to get River and we didn't get home till about 8ish. Long, busy weekend!
So, now to the fourth night out. We met Bruce, Aubri, Sarah, Russ, and Miller at Cheddar's. That place is so good! And CHEAP!! Seriously, for me and Dusty each a meal, plus a few drinks, our bill was $26. Wow, can't beat that! River just ate off of my plate because it seems everytime I get him his own kids meal, he doesn't eat a bite! And yes, we took River. Only because Sarah and Russ brought Miller who is 1 year younger than River. He wasn't bad this time, he just wanted to stand up in the booth and sit in mine and Dusty's laps. We couldn't really enjoy our food while it was hot. Ha! So, Dusty said no more : ( It was fun to be out with other couples and hanging out. We def need to do it more often! So, I think I am done eating out for a while...at least until this weekend. Hehe!
I signed up at a gym today. I went to a class called BodyBlast. It was a.maz.ing! OMG! We started out doing a little Zumba, then lifted barbells?? dumb bells...idk what they're called, but the little ones you hold in your hands. Anyhoo, I used 5 pound weights and let me tell you! My arms were so sore when I left. We also got the big exercise balls and did all kinds of crunches. They have the class 2x a week and I am definitely going to keep going. It is fun and I gotta get ready for this summer!
A few weeks ago, I put a bag of dried beans I had in a bucket for River to play with. He actually had fun and played there for like 30 minutes!
And lastly, this is an older pic (well, I guess about a month old), but I found it on my mom's FB and I stole it :o). My parents kept River for us one night, and they also had Kasen and Jaicee. All three grandkids staying the night. Ha! Anyhoo, I though this pic was cute of them. It reminds me of when I was a kid and my cousins would stay with me and my brother and we would make pallets on the floor.
I love these kiddos!!
I think I'm caught up now. Goodnite! I'm outie ;o)

Friday Favorites ~
So, I was fixing to log onto my blog and do a post on my Friday Favorites…just name a few faves I’ve found lately. Fun Weekend
We had a fun and relaxing weekend this past weekend. It started off Friday nite at Wendy's house. She made Mexican, which I had been craving!! We had chicken/beef fatjitas, chicken nachos, a Mexican chicken casserole, and some chips with guacamole and salsa. It was DElish!!! Very, very good. After we ate, Papa Stan got his guitar out and played it a little. River was right beside him playing. He couldn't take his hands off of it. I didn't have my camera with me. Boo! River loves instruments/music. Maybe he'll be a country singer one day : ).
Saturday, we had lunch and I had to go find some party stuff for River's birthday. My baby boy will be 2 in a little over a month *tear! I'm sad my baby is growing up, but I love watching him learn new things. He is so funny! His latest obsession are his nipples. Ha! He's always trying to get Dusty's and the other day I was getting him undressed for a bath and I stood him up in front of the mirror and he noticed his. Now, everytime I take his shirt off he pokes at his nipples. It is too funny! He has also starting screaming at me when he gets in trouble or I tell him no! Ugh! He screams at me and then hits himself on his head...??? Then I tell him to quit hitting himself and he screams at me again. Ha! He's a mess!
Saturday nite we had Bunco. It was at Rhonda's house and she made broccoli chedder soup and chicken salad sandwiches. It was very good. We also had broccoli casserole, cookies, brownies, fruit, and a chocolate eclair...yum.my! I didn't do too good at Bunco...at all. It was pretty bad. Papaw took River to Bass Pro and to eat while we played Bunco. Dus was at work.
Sunday, River went on his first fishing trip. We went to the lake with Randy, Rhonda, and Jim (Rhonda's dad). Mr. Jim has a houseboat about an hour and a half from here. It was fun. We caught brim and white perch. I love going fishing. Whether I fish or not, I just like being out there relaxing. Although, there wasn't much relaxing going on yesterday with River running around everywhere. We all took turns chasing him around. He had a blast! We walked up and down the dock 100,000 times! He loved watching all the boats go by. Then we threw his goldfish snacks in the water and watched the birds fly down and get em. After we got back home, Randy fried the fish we had just caught. That fresh fish was sooo good! It was a long day, but very fun. I love days like that!

As you may or may not know, I am a ThirtyOne Consultant. I just signed up in January and have had a pretty good experience with it so far. I love the products!! I pretty much want one of everything. I have done three parties, one being my own and two catalog parties. Hosting a party gets you awesome deals!! For March, the hostess special is an XXL everyday tote or a market thermal tote for only $10 if you have a $450 party. And believe me, it is not hard to get $450! Awesome, right?!?! The customer special for March is for every $31 you spend, you get any purse 1/2 off! Can't beat that!
A hostess can also get up to 20% in free products, 5 half priced items, and up to 2 hostess exclusive products. What a great deal! If you think you would be interested in hosting a party, please let me know and I can send you some catalogs and you can host a catalog party. Just pass the catalogs around, leave them in the lobby area at your work place, take them to church, take them to playgroups, etc. This is great stuff for teachers, gifts, and even yourself! I have a ThirtyOne blog (look over on the side bar) where I have talked about parties and things. I would love to hear from you!

River Funnys
These are some cute things River has done in the past few weeks that I want to remember. This boy is getting too big too fast!! He is such a goofball and I love him to pieces!
- He tells me he loves me to pieces and he says "I love you this much" and holds his arms out.
- His favorite song is Wheels on the Bus. When he wants to sing it he will either start rolling his hands in circles or put his finger to his nose and say shh shh. I LOVE IT!! Dusty filmed me and him singing it the other day.
- Last Friday, we were getting ready to go out and I was sitting on my bedroom floor with River and he kept whining and pointing to the hall. I asked him what did he want. He grabbed my around the neck in a choke hold and 'drug' me into the living room. I had to crawl to keep up with him. He was ready to go bye-bye!!!
- He says 'yes ma'am'...when I tell him to, of course. It is the cutest!
- Last night River was throwing his food onto the floor. When he got down from his highchair, I told him he was in trouble and was going to go to time-out (I was just playing, I wasn't really going to put him in time-out, I've never put him in time-out). Well, he walks over to the corner and stands there. Me and Dus looked at each other like how does he know what that is?!?! I told R to put his nose in the corner and he did and just stood there. It was sooo funny. I asked his teacher today at daycare if he goes to time-out a lot and she said never, but there is a little boy in his class that always goes to time-out. I guess that is where he learned it. But, they're not allowed to put the kid's nose in the corner so I don't know how he knew that part. After Dus took his pic in time-out, I got my widdle baby boy and loved on him and told he didn't have to go to time-out!
This is what he gives me when I tell him to say Cheese!!
