Happy Easter ~ 2011

We had a fun, but busy Easter!  River actually stayed the night at my mom's Saturday night, so River didn't get his Easter basket from the Easter bunny till noonish.  I brought it over to my parents house and my grandma and brothers and Kasen were all there.  They cooked chicken wings, fries, and banana pudding.  We kept it simple!!  The banana pudding was sooooo good, and I forgot to make me a bowl to take home.  Darn it!  Kasen stayed outside pretty much all day, riding the 4-wheeler with Poot and I hid eggs so him and Kasen could have a little Easter egg hunt.

When we left Nana and Paw's we got to go home for about an hour and River took him a 45 minute nap.  Then, it was time to go to Papaw's and Honey's for some good ol' burgers!

When we got there, Papaw had this little rig fixed up for the kids.  He looks so cool!!

We got home a little after 7, and Nonna came over to see River and give him another Easter basket.  The boy is spoiled rotten! 

We did not make it to church Easter morning and I am so sad about that.  Even though River got a lot of Easter goodies, I want him to know that is not what Easter is all about!  It's about Jesus making the ultimate sacrifice for US!  How awesome is that!  Hope everybody had a wonderful Easter!
