Blah Blah Blah

Today I feel like Blah! Not much going on this evening. After I picked R up from daycare, we went to Brookshire's to get a chicken then came home and ate. Dusty went fishin'...leaving me and R home alone on a Friday night :( It's okay tho, I'm gonna make him take us to breakfast this weekend! Nothing much going on this weekend. Dusty is working Sat. I may go to the craft show and see what I can find. I wish it was 8:00 so I could go to bed!

Meet Colt! He's my younger brother. He is 23 years old from NWLA. He has a big heart and likes spending time with his family and friends. He is a great daddy to a 4 year old little boy and an great uncle to a nephew and neice. Colt is country all the way! He likes to hunt and fish when he can and he is building him a dirt track race car to start racing in the Fall. He is a huge New Orleans Saints fan and a NASCAR fan. He loves the Lord. We are a tight family and love having get togethers. Colt is sweet, loving, funny, out going, and caring.

Busy Day

I had a busy day today! Me and River met my sis-in-laws (Brandy and Kasey) at Pasados with their boys (Levi and Carter) and then went shopping. We had to get the boys some outfits for the Easter pics. After I left them, I dropped River off at my grandma's and went shopping some more by myself. I found some really cute tops!! I'm so worn out tho now. I didn't get home till after 7:00!

Tomorrow, me, Dus, and River are gonna go eat breakfast and then go to the boardwalk. It's supposed to be a pretty day with not as much wind. Yay!!! I might try to get Dusty to take me plant shopping and then come home and work outside in the garden! I love planting flowers, it's so relaxing to me!

Well, I better get to bed since we're losing an hour of sleep :( Goodnite everyone!

Plate Party

Well, my plate party was a success I think! It was fun, caotic, but fun! Ha! There were 7 kids here and I was so busy that I didn't get to take any pics! I will have some pics of the finsihed products, tho, when they come in. I can't wait to see em!! My mom and neice and nephew just left. We've been outside all afternoon. This is the longest River has stayed outside. He loved it! I think he wishes he could get down and play with the rest of em! He will soon enough. Ha! I think me and River are gonna lay low the rest of the day and relax. I'm pooped!

Random thoughts...

One more day till Friday!! Whoo hoo! Me and the hunny have a date night tomorrow night and I'm excited! It's been a while since we've gone out just the two of us! We're going to a hockey game. I've only ever been to one before...should be fun! I guess we'll just eat there cuz the game starts at 7 and I gotta get home from work and get ready then we got to drop River off at his Honey's. Saturday I'm having a Plate Party! Too much to explain what it is, but I'll post pics! I can't wait. I hope it's a good turn out! I need to be cleaning house right now getting ready for it, but I'm too lazy! Speaking of, I hear River waking up from his nap so I better go get him! Happy Friday tomorrow!!

Bad Blogger~

Well, I just thought I was gonna be able to keep this blogging thing up! Ha, yeah right! So, what has been going on with me.....Well, River is 10 months old and is such a great, great baby! He makes me laugh every single day! He is not walking, not even standing up on his own. He does at daycare, but not at home! He's so funny. Besides River, I've just been working and enjoying time with family!

Hunting season is FINALLY over!! Whoo hoo! Dusty has been home a lot more these days! Turkey season is starting soon, tho, but that's not near as time consuming as duck and deer! I've got River's 1st birthday in the works! It is gonna be so cute...I hope! I'm doing a farm animal theme. I can't believe my baby boy will be 1 in two months *tear*.

I'll say it again, I'm gonna try to keep this blog up!!!

Happy New Year!!!

Hope yall had a a happy New Year's Eve and Day! We kinda kept it low key. We spent New Year's Eve at my in-laws and got home about 10:00 then hit the bed! Ha! New Years Day me & River ate lunch at the firestation with Dusty and the rest of the guys and wives then went to my mom's and played games and ate all night. It was pretty fun! I don't have any pics...poo!

River has started looking out the window ALL day long. He just sits there and looks and talks. He's so funny! I love that boy with all my heart! Well, I gotta go get stuff ready for work and daycare tomorrow. I'll try to keep this updated pretty regular. Bye!
